For one hour, anyway. Saturday night. 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm, wherever you are, turn out the lights.

Earth Hour 2009 is a world wide initiative to bring awareness to how much our use of electricity contributes to the problem of global warming, and how it’s really not hard to conserve and cut back when we put our minds to it.
We all want a sustainable future; we all want clean air and clean water, a safe place to live and work and play, and a beautiful environment for our children, grandchildren, and all the future generations of humans and other living creatures with whom we share our lives here on Earth.
So please join in, turn it off (for just an hour), and pass it along!
