Kids Need Fresh Air and Green Spaces

it’s not just Indigo Kids or Star Kids who need plenty of time out in the natural world, but every child.  Many parents today are depriving their children of the one thing that can help make them whole;  Green Spaces,  Fresh Air.  Nature.

What I hear often from Indigo kids and teens is how difficult it is just to get time to play, and time outside in the natural world.  Parents, listen up:  your children CRAVE this!  And they aren’t getting it — at least, nowhere near enough of it.  They need a minimum of one hour a day, EVERY day.

Sure, you as parents have tight schedules and demands.  But that doesn’t mean your kids have to suffer deprivation as a result. I know that it’s a challenge — and I know that parents of Indigo and Star Seed kids are up to it, because I know plenty of parents who make sure their children get enough:

  • Unstructured play time.  This is important to help your kids nurture their immense creative aspects.  (P.S.  Unstructured doesn’t mean “unsupervised”. . . )
  • At least one hour every day out in the natural world.  You know. Trees. Water.  Fresh air.  Animals. Flowers and plants.  Your children need contact with and understanding of Nature.  Make sure they get their daily “vitamin” of it.  Gardens are good — for all family members — even if it’s just a potted plant on the balcony or patio :-)
  • Healthy food.   Even snacks can be healthy, with a little advance planning.
  • Rest.  (By the way, TV and computer games are NOT restful and do NOT qualify as rest.)

If you’d like a little inspiration for getting kids out into some fresh air and green spaces, here’s a book (The Green Hour by Todd Christopher) and initiative that supports it:

The Green Hour

Your children deserve to have a life that connects them directly with Nature.  Other parents are finding ways to do this — and you can too.  Your children depend on you to help provide the environment where they will thrive.  Make sure they get it.

If you are an Indigo kid, teen, or Star Seed adult, the missing element in your life just might be Nature.  Plan to get back in touch with it, because it will heal and nurture you in ways nothing else can.

Oh, and if you want to learn how to communicate effectively with Nature, and teach your children, you might like to get this free report from How To Partner With Nature Intelligence.  (I think you will like it.)

Shaking It Up — Big Time

In the past 30 days, there have been more than 100 earthquakes around the planet.  In case you were wondering, that’s a LOT!

Besides the unusually large number, here are some other significant items:

  • More than 30 of those quakes were above 6.0 on the Richter scale.  Those are some big earthquakes — and a lot of them.
  • Three of the quakes were REALLY big:  7.0, 8.3, and 8.5.
  • There is growing activity and increase in the number of quakes along the “Ring of Fire” area in the Pacific — so called because the fault lines form a ring and include volcanic areas.
  • While most of the quakes were “shallow” (which can still cause plenty of damage) a high proportion of them were quite deep within the earth — some as much as 5-600 kilometers or more deep.  Those particular earthquakes signal major shifts in the earth’s core.

As we approach Earth Day (April 22nd) it would be a good idea for us all to remember that we are intimately connected with our Mother Earth.  We can help, even with such things as increasing earth movement.

This coming weekend, people around the planet will be taking one hour in the evening (from 8:30 to 9:30 pm to turn off the lights, turn off all electrical appliances, and just enjoy the evening — naturally.  Will you be among them?  This is one thing that you can do.  Yes, it’s a small thing — but the small things add up.  And help us remember there is much more we need to do.

Another thing you can do is to join those of us who are doing healing work with the planet, through meditation and consciousness.  Here is a link to some of the earlier meditations we’ve done.  Even though this meditation was about summer storms, it would be a good idea to repeat them now.  They will be useful for all kinds of earth healing activities.

And last but not least, here is a post I wrote on one of my other blogs, over at my Bright Wings site, on the Vernal Equinox.  You may find it useful as well.

If the earth (or other changes) are shaking YOU up a bit, pay attention.  Change is good.  We can help make it easier.  Don’t forget that we are all connected.  Stay connected with Source, with one another, and with the planet.

If there are things you are doing, feeling, or noticing that you think would help too, I’d love to hear about them.  Please comment below.

Special Way to Help Homeless Kids

Every so often, something comes along that just touches a chord so deep, you KNOW you have to do something about it.  This is one of those times.

It’s obvious that times are getting tough for people all over.  You can hear it in the news, see it in people’s faces, and watch it in your own town.  If you’re as sensitive as I am, you can feel it in your heart.

But until I read the blog post where I’m going to send you in just a moment, I really didn’t know how bad it’s gotten for some of our most vulnerable people — teens who run away and become homeless. The numbers are stunning.  The suffering is unimaginable.

But it’s really not hopeless.  All it takes is a great idea — and a little help from your friends.

And by the way, sometimes your “friends” are people you will never even meet in your lifetime. . .

Here’s what I want you to do.  Visit the link I’m going to give you right below, read the blog post, click on the link to watch a short video (made by a really cute kid in Kansas City, whose heart is definitely in the right place) — and take action.

You could make a donation. (It’s tax deductible, if that ,matters to you.)  You could forward it to a friend or colleague (or two or three.)  You could do what I’m doing, by passing the word.

Start an initiative in your town.  Donate time to think through with the leaders in your community what you can do.  But please do something, besides just read the information.  Together we really can make a difference. We already are.

I don’t get anything out of this besides a good feeling, to know that what I’m doing right here at my keyboard is going to save some lives — and maybe turn a few around in the bargain.

Oh yeah.  Here’s the link:  Initiative To Help Homeless Kids .

Go there.  Take action.

Thanks.

Autumn’s Rush

Published by under Uncategorized

The weather has turned a bit more chilly, the full moon was big and bright this month, and around here the leaves are doing their color dance as we head towards winter.  The fall months always seem to go full-tilt towards the winter holidays, and some days it feels like I can hardly catch up with all the things there are to do, see, read, experience, and be.

Sometimes the burst of activity feels like a rush of energy.  You’d think I’d be used to it by now, but I never am :-)  It also feels kind of. . . I don’t know. . . like the “wrong time of year” for this much energy.  Like this is what you are supposed to feel in the springtime. Every season brings new changes, and lately a huge leap or acceleration in the energy fields for us and for all living beings.

But it is what it is — and however I am experiencing the acceleration, I know that it’s here for me to use and apply to whatever I am working on, planning, dreaming, and becoming.

How about you?  What are you up to these days?  How are you dancing with the energy?

I’d love to hear from you.  Let’s share :-)

Healing World Image

Hello my dear friend,

There is a beautiful song, most often heard at Christmas time, which starts, “Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me.” On this International Day of Peace, wouldn’t it be wonderful if we all carried those words within us and lived those words from our hearts?

For there to be peace on earth, each of us must truly say, “Let it begin with me.” That is where it all begins.

“Lao Tzu said, “If there is to be peace in the world…in the nations…in the cities…between neighbors…in the home…there must be peace in the heart.” Peace begins in the heart because the heart is the seat of love and, as Gandhi said, “Love is the strongest force the world possesses….”

If we call upon this unconditional love–if we simply focus on the love in each of our hearts and let this limitless, perfect, healing love flow into us and through us–then we can find that perfect peace. We can live in that perfect peace, and we can bring that peace to our homes, our countries, our world.

Please take at least a moment today to focus on your heart, feel the flow of unconditional love coming into you, and then focus on sending that love to everyone you encounter this day. Open your heart and open your mind and see that perfect love flowing through every person throughout our world.

On this special day, please join me in living the message of that beautiful Christmas carol:

“Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me.”

In love and peace,

Chunyi
Peace is what every heart longs to feel, deep down.   Today, join with me and millions of others, to make it so :-)
Nancy

Ringing Cedars Series Is Here!

With great excitement I hold the first book in the Ringing Cedars series in my hands (Anastasia.)    The energy the book carries feels joyous, before I even open the cover.  The brilliant sunflower portrayed on the cover seems like a flame, or a sun, showering its warmth upon all who gaze upon it.  I am ready to begin this journey.

Will you join me?

See what this is all about here.

I know this series is going to answer a LOT of questions that you have been asking, and bring you great healing.  It’s time.  Let us begin.

9/9/09: Sacred Number of Completion and Manifestation

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009 is a special day.  (Well, if you ask me. . . all days are special!)  But this one is especially so.

iStock_000000335156XSmall_number9

In numerology, the number nine has to do with completion — and manifestation.  Now, for those of you who also follow astrology, you might know that the planet Mercury went retrograde on Monday; that is a time when it’s good to complete things that have already been started, work on fixing things that didn’t work out right the first time — relationships, projects, work, and so on — and to prepare for a new cycle ahead.  I mention this because it has a bearing on the energy fields we are entering right now.

Mercury retrograde’s “shadow side” is that it can cause communication delays or misunderstandings (make sure that important letter has a stamp on it — that when you reply to an email you don’t hit “reply all” instead — and that what you say is what they heard); transportation challenges or delays (make sure the car has enough gas in it and it’s tuned up; double check your departure time; and in general don’t freak out if plans change unexpectedly — it will all work out eventually); and machinery has a tendency to go completely haywire (back up your hard drive and your data!)

During this period, you can make some real headway on projects that have been planned, and you can finish things that have been on your desk for quite a while.  it’s a good time.  And. . . this is a special time for working to envision and create a world that fits your ideal of how things are SUPPOSED to work.  We get the stars aligned just right to help it happen right now — which is a major blessing.  Please take advantage of it.  (And keep working on this no matter WHAT the stars are doing!)

If you’d like another glimpse into how the Mayans thought about this sacred number and these times, read an interesting article about “999 and the Mayan Calendar” here.

Finally, I got word today that the Ringing Cedars books have shipped and will be here later this week.  Be sure to check them out and order your copies!  I know they are going to be flying out the door as soon as they get here and I want to make sure you have YOUR copy as soon as possible.

Labor Day Musings

This coming Monday is a Labor Day holiday in the US, and for many people it’s a time to kick back and relax with family and friends, do some fun things out of doors if possible, and generally shift gears.  If you’re a parent, your kids either have already started back to school, or they will soon.

iStock_000009479650XSmall_family-barbecue

Labor Day is also kind of like a hinge.  it separates summer activities from the start of a school year, and all the things that happen during the autumn months.  Most people say that there is a noticeable shift in the energy.  Today you will probably start to feel the energy shifting big time, because it’s a full moon in Pisces, very intuitive and robust.  Most Indigos are going to feel great!

But next week starts one of Mercury’s periodic retrogrades — when you can experience mechanical failures, mis-communications, delays in travel, and so on.  That’s annoying for many people, but I actually LIKE the retrograde times, because it’s a great time to complete things that have already been started.  And believe me, I have tons of THOSE sitting around here!  Mercury retrograde gives me the perfect energy I need to get those things done and out of the way.  I’m looking forward to it.

And finally, the weather patterns are starting to gear up for some real storm activity over all the oceans.  You can call it global warming or whatever you like, the point is:  we all have to deal with it.  Please review my earlier posts about weather and storm meditations, and get ready to go into action the minute you hear about storm systems building, or whenever you start feeling an overload inside your own body.  Those are signs that something is brewing — and we CAN make a difference through our conscious connections.  I hope you will join me in this.

More news soon about the amazing Ringing Cedars Series.  I just ordered the inventory, and my webmaster is busy getting our site ready for you to place orders.  I will post something here about each of the books and DVDs, so that you can see what’s up.  I know you will love them as much as I do and want to get several copies for friends or family members.

Have a great weekend!

Ringing Cedars Are Here

A few weeks ago, Blue Eagle told me about a book that saved his life.  In case you don’t know, Blue Eagle is a Native American healer who created one of the most powerful cleansing and clearing formulas (Blue Eagle Invocation) that you will ever find; he’s also a music healer — and he’s been my friend now for more than 20 years.

When he told me that this book had helped him to recover from some of the darkest moments of his life, i believed him.  I know some of the things he’s been through — and believe me, no one would ever want to have to go through stuff like that.  He told me what the books are, and when I discovered them, immediately I knew they are something VERY special.  And I knew that many of you are going to want copies for yourselves, perhaps also for friends and family.

More than a million copies have been sold — without ANY advertising whatsoever.  All by “word of mouth.”  That is astonishing for anything — but especially for books that aren’t even being promoted. Today, I am delighted to tell you that I have made arrangements with the publishers, to be able to offer the complete series of books to my readers!

The series is called Ringing Cedars.  It’s the story of a healing tree deep in the Siberian forests, whose age is so old it’s immeasurable.  The tree sends out mysterious vibrations through its rings — vibrations that lift your consciousness and heal you. But there’s more to the story than that — and I know you’re going to want to get your hands on all of the books in the series.  They are very powerful!

As soon as humanly possible, I will have the links posted for you so that you can discover them for yourselves, and place your orders if you choose.  I’ve got my first orders ready so the publisher can get the books here right away, and my team is working right now to get the order processes and web pages ready for you.

So watch for another announcement soon.  You’ll be the first to know when they’re here!  I KNOW you are going to love the Ringing Cedars series!

New Invocation Product: Good News and Bad News

Well, here’s a big oops!

Last week I sent out an announcement about Blue Eagle Invocation’s great new product:  the 100ml plain refiller bottle, so that you can keep your spray top bottles and just add more product when it gets low.

The good news is that we still have it! It’s been very popular and the demand has been higher than expected.  So that’s part one of the bad news; we ran out of stock almost immediately.  (We have reorders on the way. . . )

Part two of the bad news is. . . the price was wrong.  I’m so sorry to have to tell you this, but it looks like the people who jumped on this right away got a *really* good deal!   Unfortunately, it didn’t last. . .

Our good friends in Canada made an error in the prices — which we (in all good faith) posted to the web site and shopping cart.  When I went to place a reorder, I learned that they gave us the wrong price — and I had to change it again.   The new prices are already up on the web site and in the shopping cart, so if you didn’t order already, I’m afraid it’s too late to get the lower “introductory” prices.

However. . . it’s still VERY reasonably priced at $69.95 a bottle.  It still provides an economical way to use your spray top bottles.  And of course it’s always the same great product as ever.

I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience — and very happy that those who jumped on it right away were able to get a one-time true bargain.  (The “early bird” really does luck out!)

Some more good news is that we’ll be stocking the refill bottles regularly now, and you should be able to get them any time you want.  Do check it out when you get a chance — and pass the word along to your friends:

Order Now

Thanks and have a great weekend!
