Every so often, something comes along that just touches a chord so deep, you KNOW you have to do something about it.  This is one of those times.

It’s obvious that times are getting tough for people all over.  You can hear it in the news, see it in people’s faces, and watch it in your own town.  If you’re as sensitive as I am, you can feel it in your heart.

But until I read the blog post where I’m going to send you in just a moment, I really didn’t know how bad it’s gotten for some of our most vulnerable people — teens who run away and become homeless. The numbers are stunning.  The suffering is unimaginable.

But it’s really not hopeless.  All it takes is a great idea — and a little help from your friends.

And by the way, sometimes your “friends” are people you will never even meet in your lifetime. . .

Here’s what I want you to do.  Visit the link I’m going to give you right below, read the blog post, click on the link to watch a short video (made by a really cute kid in Kansas City, whose heart is definitely in the right place) — and take action.

You could make a donation. (It’s tax deductible, if that ,matters to you.)  You could forward it to a friend or colleague (or two or three.)  You could do what I’m doing, by passing the word.

Start an initiative in your town.  Donate time to think through with the leaders in your community what you can do.  But please do something, besides just read the information.  Together we really can make a difference. We already are.

I don’t get anything out of this besides a good feeling, to know that what I’m doing right here at my keyboard is going to save some lives — and maybe turn a few around in the bargain.

The weather has turned a bit more chilly, the full moon was big and bright this month, and around here the leaves are doing their color dance as we head towards winter.  The fall months always seem to go full-tilt towards the winter holidays, and some days it feels like I can hardly catch up with all the things there are to do, see, read, experience, and be.

Sometimes the burst of activity feels like a rush of energy.  You’d think I’d be used to it by now, but I never am   It also feels kind of. . . I don’t know. . . like the “wrong time of year” for this much energy.  Like this is what you are supposed to feel in the springtime. Every season brings new changes, and lately a huge leap or acceleration in the energy fields for us and for all living beings.

But it is what it is — and however I am experiencing the acceleration, I know that it’s here for me to use and apply to whatever I am working on, planning, dreaming, and becoming.

Hello my dear friend,

There is a beautiful song, most often heard at Christmas time, which starts, “Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me.” On this International Day of Peace, wouldn’t it be wonderful if we all carried those words within us and lived those words from our hearts?

For there to be peace on earth, each of us must truly say, “Let it begin with me.” That is where it all begins.

“Lao Tzu said, “If there is to be peace in the world…in the nations…in the cities…between neighbors…in the home…there must be peace in the heart.” Peace begins in the heart because the heart is the seat of love and, as Gandhi said, “Love is the strongest force the world possesses….”

If we call upon this unconditional love–if we simply focus on the love in each of our hearts and let this limitless, perfect, healing love flow into us and through us–then we can find that perfect peace. We can live in that perfect peace, and we can bring that peace to our homes, our countries, our world.

Please take at least a moment today to focus on your heart, feel the flow of unconditional love coming into you, and then focus on sending that love to everyone you encounter this day. Open your heart and open your mind and see that perfect love flowing through every person throughout our world.

Wednesday, September 9th, 2009 is a special day.  (Well, if you ask me. . . all days are special!)  But this one is especially so.

In numerology, the number nine has to do with completion — and manifestation.  Now, for those of you who also follow astrology, you might know that the planet Mercury went retrograde on Monday; that is a time when it’s good to complete things that have already been started, work on fixing things that didn’t work out right the first time — relationships, projects, work, and so on — and to prepare for a new cycle ahead.  I mention this because it has a bearing on the energy fields we are entering right now.

Mercury retrograde’s “shadow side” is that it can cause communication delays or misunderstandings (make sure that important letter has a stamp on it — that when you reply to an email you don’t hit “reply all” instead — and that what you say is what they heard); transportation challenges or delays (make sure the car has enough gas in it and it’s tuned up; double check your departure time; and in general don’t freak out if plans change unexpectedly — it will all work out eventually); and machinery has a tendency to go completely haywire (back up your hard drive and your data!)

During this period, you can make some real headway on projects that have been planned, and you can finish things that have been on your desk for quite a while.  it’s a good time.  And. . . this is a special time for working to envision and create a world that fits your ideal of how things are SUPPOSED to work.  We get the stars aligned just right to help it happen right now — which is a major blessing.  Please take advantage of it.  (And keep working on this no matter WHAT the stars are doing!)

This coming Monday is a Labor Day holiday in the US, and for many people it’s a time to kick back and relax with family and friends, do some fun things out of doors if possible, and generally shift gears.  If you’re a parent, your kids either have already started back to school, or they will soon.

Labor Day is also kind of like a hinge.  it separates summer activities from the start of a school year, and all the things that happen during the autumn months.  Most people say that there is a noticeable shift in the energy.  Today you will probably start to feel the energy shifting big time, because it’s a full moon in Pisces, very intuitive and robust.  Most Indigos are going to feel great!

But next week starts one of Mercury’s periodic retrogrades — when you can experience mechanical failures, mis-communications, delays in travel, and so on.  That’s annoying for many people, but I actually LIKE the retrograde times, because it’s a great time to complete things that have already been started.  And believe me, I have tons of THOSE sitting around here!  Mercury retrograde gives me the perfect energy I need to get those things done and out of the way.  I’m looking forward to it.

And finally, the weather patterns are starting to gear up for some real storm activity over all the oceans.  You can call it global warming or whatever you like, the point is:  we all have to deal with it.  Please review my earlier posts about weather and storm meditations, and get ready to go into action the minute you hear about storm systems building, or whenever you start feeling an overload inside your own body.  Those are signs that something is brewing — and we CAN make a difference through our conscious connections.  I hope you will join me in this.

Well, here’s a big oops!

Last week I sent out an announcement about Blue Eagle Invocation’s great new product:  the 100ml plain refiller bottle, so that you can keep your spray top bottles and just add more product when it gets low.

The good news is that we still have it! It’s been very popular and the demand has been higher than expected.  So that’s part one of the bad news; we ran out of stock almost immediately.  (We have reorders on the way. . . )

Part two of the bad news is. . . the price was wrong.  I’m so sorry to have to tell you this, but it looks like the people who jumped on this right away got a *really* good deal!   Unfortunately, it didn’t last. . .

Our good friends in Canada made an error in the prices — which we (in all good faith) posted to the web site and shopping cart.  When I went to place a reorder, I learned that they gave us the wrong price — and I had to change it again.   The new prices are already up on the web site and in the shopping cart, so if you didn’t order already, I’m afraid it’s too late to get the lower “introductory” prices.

However. . . it’s still VERY reasonably priced at $69.95 a bottle.  It still provides an economical way to use your spray top bottles.  And of course it’s always the same great product as ever.

I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience — and very happy that those who jumped on it right away were able to get a one-time true bargain.  (The “early bird” really does luck out!)

Because there is so much energy shifting right now, and many of you are wondering “What the heck is going on here?” — I decided it’s time to share with you some more links, to articles and sites that offer some explanations and insight to this question.  I know that I have had more than one “Aha!” moment by reading them, and I think they might be of value to you as well.

Karen Bishop has some new books out, and quite a lot to say about how the shifts are affecting you — and some helpful suggestions for what to do about it.  I like reading her insights even when they don’t precisely match what I’m experiencing — because sooner or later someone will ask me about the same thing Visit her site here.  Be sure to check the latest report, in case there’s a new one posted.

Patricia Cota-Robles talks about an event happening August 15-20th, 2009 in Tucson, Arizona:  a World Congress on Illumination.  Through the Law of Resonance, all humans of like heart and mind can participate in stabilizing the extraordinary amount of Light that is awakening throughout the Universe, whether the timing of the event is “now” or “past”.  It’s worth a look at her site to learn more:  Era of Peace. (Enjoy the nice music, too!)

And last but certainly not least, Tom Kenyon channels an entity known as the Hathors, who have some important things to say about the predicted Swine Flu pandemic, how to stay well, and how to stay centered through the current and coming changes.  I personally liked these a lot!  They are very hopeful and empowering. The common thread I find in all these messages is this:

• Stay centered and connected to Source no matter WHAT happens!
• Turn from both fear and anger in yourself and when you encounter it in others; refuse to participate
• Keep breathing and seek the joy
• Remember the 11:11 (as above, so below) — and follow the 11:11 Laws to your best ability)

These steps will serve you well always, not just under challenging circumstances.  Make it your business to master them — and then teach it to others if they ask

Hey everyone, looks like I spoke too soon about the summer storms.  We had a nice “break” but things are stirring up again globally and we need your help to get things back in harmony.  The energies from the triple eclipses have triggered some weather events that could use some adjusting.

Hurricane Bill is kicking up some surf in the Atlantic, and we could use some help getting this system turned harmlessly toward the open sea instead of land.  Those of you who have been working with the earth energies and flow, know what to do.  Go do that.
