With all the accelerated energies and interdimensional shifts going on, it’s all too easy to feel overloaded with too much energy to process.

What to do?

There are a couple of simple steps you can do to quickly and safely “power down” and get back to center.

• Get out into Nature and allow the natural world to help you release what’s “more than you need” — and to help you take in more of what you DO need instead of the frenetic, scrambled energies that you may have taken on from the outside world.
• Take time to be still.  Remove yourself from the noise (including TV, MP3 players, radio, and all electronic gadgets.)  Unplug yourself and go to a place without noise or commotion.  If the only place you can find that is in the bathroom, so be it!  It will work
• Meditate.  It doesn’t have to be a formal practice with you on a cushion like a Zen monk.  Just find something to focus on for a period of at least 10-15 minutes a day (a candle flame, a bowl of water, a flower. . . things like that.)  Ideally you can work up to half an hour.  But start with SOMETHING!  Just do it.  You need to find a way to calm and discipline your mind.

And finally, my favorite technique of all.  Go hug a tree!  Here’s why.  The tree can accept what you don’t need, and put it into the Earth for recycling.  This helps everyone.

Put your arms around a tree (any tree will do, as long as it’s big enough for you to wrap your arms around.)  Concentrate on the extra energies you are feeling, and ask the tree to receive the “overload” of the energies you would like to release ~ and request that the tree funnel the energy back down into the earth through its roots.

Go hug a tree!

This is easy to do, is not harmful for the tree, and helps to make the energies you release available for whatever the Earth needs.  And yes, the Earth can handle this   Really.

Don’t sit there freaking out about feeling overloaded.  There are simple, practical things you can do.

So go do them!  And tell your friends.

Short answer is:  maybe.

Michael Jackson

While I was not a huge fan of Michael Jackson (his style of music wasn’t my taste), I was certainly aware of him ~ and the undeniable charismic energy he carried.  So far as I know, he never took an Indigo assessment, or in any way implied that he was aware that he might carry Indigo energy.  But from what he wrote, from his music, and from certain elements of his tormented life, it seems plausible to me that he very well may have been Indigo.

And if that’s true, then it’s also pretty clear that he wasn’t seeking the best spiritual support team to help him better use his significant talents.  I’m not going to go into the controversies about his life (and there are so many it will probably take years to discover the truth behind his extremely private ~ often paranoid ~ personal world) ~  nor into the controversies surrounding his financial affairs.

But what I would like to address are the ways that Michael Jackson led a lonely life, by his own admission, and how the help that might have sustained him was there, but he apparently turned instead to comforts of the moment, some of which may have contributed to his untimely and mysterious death.  His life was all about performing, expressing a message in forms of his own design, and connecting with others mostly remotely — from a distance.

He was a very Aquarian figure — focused on many of the large issues of our times, caring, and completely unique and unusual.  As a star on the international scene, few ever shone brighter — or flamed out so tragically. His life was in many ways very sad; and so was his death.

Let me be a voice for compassion here ~ and remember Michael Jackson as someone with a vision, many Indigo traits, and a voice that kept trying to touch us in ways he could not otherwise.  Michael aspired to touch the soul of the world — and for many of us, his music did that.  He reminded us about redemption, and a higher vision.  He clearly saw into realms that ordinary people never consider; he saw what is possible and tried to tell us about it.   Sometimes he succeeded, even when it shocked us.

He blazed trails courageously, sometimes where angels fear to tread.   He was “in our face” about gender identity and what it means to be male in a world that lags behind those who dare to take us into many kinds of possible futures.  Unfortunately, his message wasn’t always clear or coherent.  Maybe he was working his way up to that.  Now we may never know what he hoped, what he intended, and what his true vision for humanity was.

I’ve heard that there are around 100 unreleased new Michael Jackson songs; perhaps the rest of his message is in them.  I for one hope that his brilliant mind and soul sings through loud and clear on some of them.  Michael was both a cultural icon as well as an iconoclast.

Goodbye, Michael.  My prayers are for you to now find the peace that seems to have eluded you while you were here.  God speed on your path, wherever it leads you from here.

The Universal Law of Perception ~ The Spiritual Law of Future Sight

All of the Laws are sacred.  This one is the power of the sacred, within all.  As we perceive, so do we become.

As the Lakota Sioux say, “MAKA WICAHPI WICOHAN”.

The Unversal Law of Love ~ The Spiritual Law of Healing

Love and healing go together as no other two Laws do.  Their energy is intertwined in a cosmic dance that possibly precedes time and dimension.

Much could be said about these Laws ~ and much has certainly be said about the two words Love and Healing.

But their real relationship is in their connection.

And this is worth pondering deeply.

The Universal Law of Nature ~ The Spiritual Law of Protection of Man

Nature is the force that creates form within the dimensions.  Man is the force that create ideas.  Together, nature and human beings co-create the world.  Humans (as well as all life forms) are to be protected.

Here again is a set of Universal Laws that seem to have been badly misunderstood on this planet and could use careful pondering about their meaning.  For instance, the Spiritual Law does not favor a particular human over another; nor does it favor any gender or race over another; and so on.

The Universal Law of Judgment ~ The Spiritual Law of Karma

Source builds in to all life forms a sense of judgment, through which it understands and can discriminate between that which is good, wholesome and healthy, and that which is not.  In addition, the Law of Karma (also known as the Law of Cause and Effect) help beings to learn from their own experience.  This is an orderly process and one which is self-governing.

Simplicity is intelligent.

You have no idea how long I’ve been meaning to write this post — years, probably.  So let me get into this, because Reiki and Indigos are a “match made in heaven.”

The Universal Law of Sight, Sound and Vibration ~ The Spiritual Law of Intuition

How thought and energy travel and are communicated vary according to a being’s physical makeup and the way it’s “built” ~ but all living beings respond to vibration, sound, and color.  The Spiritual Law of Intuition makes possible the correct interpretation of the data so transmitted or exchanged.

Thus all beings can know their one-ness with Source ~ and with one another.

The Universal Law of Life ~ The Spiritual Law of Choice

There are Laws which are higher than those made from human minds.  It is the Universal Law that Life BE ~ and the Spiritual Law to choose over one’s Life energy fields.

This particular set of Laws seems to produce a great deal of confusion on this planet.  Perhaps we would be wise to ponder their meaning frequently.  What does it mean to accept the gift of Life?  What does it mean to have Choice?
