8.08.08

It’s no wonder the Chinese picked this date (and time: 8:08:08 am) for the start of the Olympic games they are hosting. The number 8 is the most auspicious number for the Chinese. It is considered especially lucky.

Businesses try to get telephone numbers with as many “8′s” in them as possible, try to find properties or rental spaces with that number in the address, schedule meetings and weddings on days with 8′s in them, and use an 8-sided diagram called the Ba Gua as a tool for creating positive energy flow in the home and work space.

The Ba Gua is just one of the tools that you can use when you are working with the ancient Chinese art of feng shui (good flow of energy, or life force, inside a space.) One of the other tools that is important for everyone in keeping your spaces clear is incense or smudge (cedar and sage.)

But some people react badly to smoke — and in modern setting people aren’t allowed to burn things. So what to do?

Easy! There is a way to clear your space AND dispel negativity at the same time. Here’s where you can find out more about this effective tool — and keep the energy around you clear when you need it to be.

Use the number 8 to help you find more success, happiness, and prosperity too!
